Baseline

 1. I would say that I have a good sense in the amount of contrast is necessary in a B&W photo. Enough to keep important details within darker parts and to bring out the highlights to make a subject pop out. Another strength is the mood I get in to when I start shooting, I concentrate and hone in on finding subjects. My last strength would be understanding the basics of sunny 16 and being able to shoot a photo quickly without toying with a meter.

2. I do not do well shooting portraits of people out on the street, I would ideally like to get 5ft away from their face (confidence-wise) but currently, I do not have the willpower to do it. Underexposing my photos when trying to shoot a subject quickly is also something I struggle with. I also have trouble lugging around my heavier cameras and finding practical use for them in the street.

3. I would like to accomplish not being scared to get closer to strangers to take photos, enough to take flash street photos. I would also like to train more in order to make split decisions even faster.

4. My inability to take out my camera at crucial moments and my fear to get close photos would be the major parts that are holding me back. I would also say forgetting to take my lens cap off.
