The Proposal
Series of photos of contemporary scenes to combine seacoast landscape and figure. The figure will respond naturally to the landscape, complimenting it to make a picture. Whether it be rocks, seagrass, or sand dunes, the figure will be posed and oriented to imitate or complement the landscape’s elements. I am choosing a middle-aged subject dressed in dress pants, shoes and a white shirt, a neutral subject but one that stands out in the setting conceptually and physically. This photo series is about the connection between life and earth, it is also a look on death and the acceptance of aging.
Conduct 3 photoshoots for this series. Shoot on sunny days and cloudy days usually early morning or afternoon.
